When can I expect to receive my E-xtension and take-off notes?
Typically, take-offs are ready for delivery no later than 48 hours prior to the project's Bid Date and time. However, this depends upon when we were given the order in relation to the bid date, size of the job, etc. This gives us enough time to incorporate any changes made due to late addenda. The E-xtension and take-off notes will be delivered via e-mail provided we have received payment in full.
How does TakeOff16 price a project?
Projects can vary dramatically in design quality and difficulty. A project that bids at $300K can easily be a more difficult take-off than one that has a bid value of $1 million. Therefore, TakeOff16 does not base their pricing on the final bid price of a project or the quantity of drawings.
Instead, a senior estimator reviews the contract documents and estimates how much time will be required to perform the take-off, create full notation and produce the E-xtension file. After adding miscellaneous costs such as plan and reproduction fees, TakeOff16 arrives at the final price. Then a pricing proposal and contract is emailed to the client.
Note: -Addenda and Postponements may incresase the price of your take-off.
All Projects are exclusive.
We do not perform or sell the take-offs to more than one person.
What are my payment options?
Minimum 50% deposit
TakeOff16 requires a minimum 50% deposit for all take-offs. The balance is
due on or before our Delivery Date. TakeOff16 will not begin working on a project until receipt of the 50% deposit. Additionally, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
What if the Bid gets postponed?
Addenda and Postponements may increase the price of your take-off. Additionally the 50% deposit is non refundable.
Hourly rates.
Our hourly rates for jobs are:
$55.00 per hour - junior estimator
$75.00 per hour - estimator
$125.00 per hour - senior estimator
$150.00 per hour - principal
When does TakeOff16 start the take-off on a project?
TakeOff16 does not start the takeoff until we have recieved the deposit payment.
We encourage our clients to purchase early as this allows us to put together the most efficient and economical team. Rush orders often require over-time and weekend work which greatly affects the price of a project.
