Our take-off process is a very thorough, multi-staged process which involves a team of well-trained and experienced estimators. We apply the highest industry standards of estimating to every take-off we perform. Each take-off is thoroughly reviewed and approved by a Senior Estimator and the estimating team before it is sent to the client.
During the course of the take-off, TakeOff16®'s estimators keep constant track of the project, making sure we receive all addenda and other project changes. We work directly with the architects and engineers, producing RFI's (Request for Information) and obtaining clarity on confusing design elements. We also produce 'Request for Quotation' documents for special material items and packages such as Lighting Fixtures. We deliver these documents to our clients via e-mail or through our FTP site. They can then send these documents directly to their vendors for quotation.
In the future, this information will be linked directly to vendors who will provide direct quotation on these projects or can be put in direct contact with the contractor via our web site. Of course, TakeOff16® is available to discuss the project with the client at anytime during the take-off process.
